The book Peinture presents work from the years 2020 to 2024, with occasional reflections on earlier periods. Over the course of these years, my approach to landscape painting has developed greater depth.
The large landscape studies, painted in oil on paper, along with mural painting, mark the beginning of a certain maturity. A joyful progression that allows my emotions and gestures to flow more freely. My brush runs across the canvas—sometimes it escapes me and falls to the ground… I laugh about it.
The flowers are still there, loud and colourful, yet also solemn and profound. They often appear small against the vast landscape, as if surprised or lost amidst the overwhelming beauty of nature. And they also take centre stage in some paintings, reflecting the daily wonder they awaken in me.
For the past 46 years, I have worked intensely to observe and to paint, in an attempt to express and share the vitality and strength of beauty. I live for painting and within painting.
The book Mural features the mural projects completed outside the Château de Beauvoir. It is a book to browse through, combining technical explanations with a diversity of subjects.
Mural painting is a kind of promenade. In everyday life at home, it can be both present and discreet. It is a silent companion that enhances and elevates sculptures, objects, furniture, and more.
It plays with the light of day and evening alike.
Beauvoir is a memory book of a magical place, with the power of its trees and the presence of its austere structure. The seasons there were vivid and ever-present. Everything felt intensely real, even though we were living in a dream.
Together with Pierre Imhof and our small team, we tried to restore the beauty of a place that had long been abandoned.
Beauvoir was an adventure—a fertile ground for the creation of gardens, for renovation and restoration of the building, and for the discovery of mural painting.

Fine Art Prints
Mural painting was the central artistic adventure of my years at the Château de Beauvoir. I painted the first walls of the château in 2011. Over the years, the bedrooms, lounges, and bathrooms gradually filled with umbels, flowers, trees, and sky.
These fine art prints are a lasting memory of thirteen years of a beautiful, whimsical, and creative journey—thirteen years devoted to Beauvoir and to painting.
They are printed using high-quality pigment inkjet printing on AQUAPAPER 240 g.
You can hang the prints by attaching a wooden batten to the back, in the manner of Japanese panels. A discreet string and a hook in the wall—or two small hooks and fine cords—are enough. They can also be pasted like wallpaper.
They are shipped in a cardboard tube, via Colissimo with signature on delivery, or Colissimo International, with tracking number provided.
